J Hobbs Ecological Consulting Ltd. provides expertise and capacity for small to medium-sized projects with a special focus on inventory and assessment of species at risk. I’m capable of working independently, or as a sub-consultant, to help address questions regarding species distribution, abundance or population trends. Flexibility, competitive pricing and diversity in experience is my strength.
I also specialize in development and delivery of projects utilizing environmental DNA (eDNA) methods and provide support, including project design, equipment and lab services, and hands-on training.
For over two decades I have focused on conservation of species at risk in British Columbia and maintained a leadership role, at a provincial level, in the design, implementation and reporting phase of numerous projects.
